Digital People Counter Operational Details

Operational Considerations

If you consider the venue layout shown here. This is a two floor, three room venue with a large nightclub on the first floor and a feeder bar and smaller club on the ground floor. Each of the three areas has a maximum occupancy figure and the venue has a combined overall occupancy. These numbers are governed by fire regulations and local authority regulations. All of the rooms have separate entrances and a connecting door to allow patrons between the monitored areas.

With this venue several possibilities of operational arrangements exist such as      With CRAMS any combination of operational areas can be monitored without regard to the other areas. Unoccupied areas will not be factored in even if staff are using the transfer doors. CRAMS is also able to handle the problem of having two distinct areas that may need to operate as a single area with a combined maximum occupancy. Only a single keypress is required to switch between split or combined zones and the screen display will be updated to reflect this change. The system can also be configured to start in either split or combined mode.
It is this capability of multiple configurations within the same venue with the same software that makes this people counter stand out from many others.
